Historical Location
Riga played an important role in both the First and Second World Wars. During WWI, the city was close to the front line and became a key military, industrial, and refugee centre. In WWII, Riga experienced both Soviet and German occupation, suffering heavy losses, repression, and major changes to daily life. Today, the city’s streets, buildings, museums, and memorial sites still reflect this complex and difficult period of history.
In our store, we maintain a small but carefully selected collection of fine original militaria, not only for collectors and enthusiasts, but also as a way to support education and historical understanding.
